Hello! Do you love the skin you’re in? Do you want ewwy dewy glowing skin just in time for summer? Get started now for natural glowing summer skin! Here are a few of our off the beaten track skin glowing health tips!
Have you ever tried the B vitamin Niacin that is known to cause a temporary “flush”? This powerful vitamin does WONDERS for the skin as well as for the heart! Most people will settle for the relative niacinamide, which is the flush free form of B-3, but it is not quite as beneficial as Niacin. The only catch with Niacin, is that you have to go through the side effect of the “flush”. We are here to tell you that it’s worth the flush- if you’re trying to attain that beautiful glowing skin. This flushing can be uncomfortable, but it doesn’t have to be horrendous. Start with a low dose of Niacin, between 50mg and 100mg. Take it after food, with lots of water and Vitamin C to help minimize the severity of the flush. You may want to be at home and allow at least a half hour for the side effects to subside.
What to expect? A warming sensation in the face and body, itchy tingling skin, and red face/skin. It almost feels like an allergic reaction but this is purely from the niacin dilating the blood vessels and rushing the body with maximized blood flow. It is one of the best vitamins for skin health and heart health (especially for cholesterol support). Super affordable and sure to help you attain that summer glow!
This blue green algae is nutrient dense for your skin and for the whole body. It is a superfood that can be used in place of a food based multivitamin. Spirulina naturally contains Magnesium, Potassium, Iron, B Vitamins (even a little niacin), and protein! It also contains chlorophyll, which has recently become popular on a viral video on Tik Tok that claims it can help clear acne. Chlorophyll might help with that but why not go for Spirulina for added nutrients to support skin health! Spirulina can also help minimize redness in the skin.
Add Spirulina powder to a protein shake or simply mix in water. If this seem like too much work, go for Spirulina capsules. Thank us later for the endless health benefits that Spirulina has to offer!

You may think we picked this oil for moisturizing, but that’s not all it can do for your skin. Try this oil for CLEANSING. You heard us! It sounds weird, but if you have problematic skin or you are looking to improve the texture of your skin– try replacing that go to cleanser with Grapeseed Oil. Cleansing with oil can help protect that lipid layer of the skin as well as the natural friendly bacteria that lives on your skin.
You simply warm a dime size of oil in your hands and lightly message into the skin. Gently wipe the oil off with a warm wet wash cloth. You can follow up with a gentle cleanser if you don’t like the oil sensation, but it isn’t necessary. This can be great for removing make-up as well! You can use other natural oils to cleanse the skin but we chose grapeseed oil because it is light and great for all skin types (especially sensitive skin). Moisturize and cleanse at the same time– save time and money and get that glow on!
These are just a few of our favorite skin care products that can help produce beautiful looking skin. As usual, let us know if you have any specific questions about your skin and we can suggest products and skin tips especially for YOU! We are here to help you LOVE the skin you’re in!
