Niacin/Vitamin B-3
Have you ever tried the B vitamin Niacinย that is known to cause a temporary “flush”?ย This powerful vitamin does WONDERS for the skin as well as for the heart! Most people will settle for the relativeย niacinamide,ย which is the flush free form of B-3, but it is not quite as beneficial as Niacin.ย The only catch with Niacin, is that you have to go through the side effect of the “flush”.ย We are here to tell you that it’s worth the flush- if you’re trying to attain that beautiful glowing skin.ย This flushing can be uncomfortable, but it doesn’t have to be horrendous.ย Start with a low dose of Niacin, between 50mg and 100mg.ย Take it after food, with lots of water andย Vitamin Cย to help minimize the severity of the flush.ย You may want to be at home and allow at least a half hour for the side effects to subside.
What to expect? This blue green algae is nutrient dense for your skin and for the whole body.ย It is a superfood that can be used in place of a food based multivitamin.ย ย Spirulinaย naturally contains Magnesium, Potassium, Iron, B Vitamins (even a little niacin), and protein!ย It also contains chlorophyll, which has recently become popular on a viral video on Tik Tok that claims it can help clear acne.ย Chlorophyll might help with that but why not go for Spirulina for added nutrients to support skin health!ย Spirulina can also help minimize redness in the skin.

You may think we picked this oil for moisturizing, but that’s not all it can do for your skin.ย Try this oil for CLEANSING.ย You heard us!ย It sounds weird, but if you have problematic skin or you are looking to improve the texture of your skin– try replacing that go to cleanser withย Grapeseed Oil.ย Cleansing with oil can help protect that lipid layer of the skin as well as the natural friendly bacteria that lives on your skin.
You simply warm a dime size of oilย in your hands and lightly message into the skin.ย Gently wipe the oil offย with a warm wet wash cloth.ย You can follow up with a gentle cleanser if you don’t like the oil sensation, but it isn’t necessary.ย This can be great for removing make-up as well!ย You can use other natural oils to cleanse the skin but we chose grapeseed oil because it is light and great for all skin types (especially sensitive skin).ย Moisturize and cleanse at the same time– save time and moneyย and get that glow on!
